2 KEY THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING CAMPERVAN INSURANCE:

1. Damage done to the campervan (collision protection), i.e., any damage to the vehicle your client is driving – hood, bumpers, windows, etc.

2. Damage you do to others’ property or injury to others (third party liability), i.e. if they were to hit another car, cause damage to that car, and cause injuries to person(s) in that car.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) means clients are not responsible for damage to the campervan in the case of an accident. Includes theft of vehicle (not personal belongings), windscreen damage, and 2 tire replacements.

If hirer does not choose to purchase CDW insurance, he/she is responsible for any and all damage caused to the Escape campervan, including theft.

Supplimental Liability Insurance (SLI)

If selected, Supplimental Liability Insurance (SLI) provides 3rd party $1,000,000 medical and $350,000 property coverage.

If hirer does not choose to purchase CDW insurance, they will have minimum third party liability coverage. This is the basic statutory third party liability and property damage included in the daily rate. Coverage varies by state.

Deductibles & Excess (in USD)

Mavericks: $25,000, Santa Cruz: $30,000, Big Sur: $40,000, Indie Camper: $55,000
